today i put my best dress on hoping that i was going to be super productive and that the sun would come out.... neither has happened!

so i'm hoping that by writing a little blog i'm going to be filled with inspiration..






Recently i got in touch with a lovely man called Trevor who runs the Northampton vintage fairs..

he asked me to take some photos of his events to use on his blog / publicity materials so i literally leaped at the chance.. here are a few of them.. let me know what you think!

 

There were so many pretty things there and the most delicious cake .. some vintage fairs are filled with tat but this one is amazing!! The next fair is at Spinney Hill in Northampton on 25th August p- perhaps i'll see you there x

Now changing the subject completely.......

Since becoming a Mum i realise how precious life is,

you only get one chance at it

 I have spent a lot of time thinking about this lately and realise that we are all guilty of saying and thinking 'i'll do it next time/later/another day' so that is why I have made a promise to myself that I am going to take the opportunities that come my way and promise my little girl Flo that I am going to always do and be the best i can everyday for us.

things i have been up to lately..

 well i have been a little bit naughty lately and haven't had a lot of time on my hands to do my little blog... however i have been up to some lovely things..


a couple of weeks ago i had a lovely day taking Shelley & Mark's wedding photos....here's a peak

on saturday i went to the Poppy sample sale at whaddon village hall...it was magic..there was a beautiful vintage tea room, hundreds of the prettiest dresses i have ever seen from Poppy and my favourite Betty the vintage ice cream van with her beautiful owner Mrs Scoops..www.vintagescoops.co.uk/

They do ladies ones and little girls ones.. my little Flo has a couple that match mine too!
The ladies at poppy are just so lovely too so treat yourself`!

I have also been to the seaside... my favourite place to be.....

i have been away for a few days... to be honest they weren't very restful or stress-free however i did see a few lovely things! so i thought i would share them with you ..... note to self.. never stay on a working farm again.. they are way too grubby for my liking

when i see things like this i smile a lot

i went to a butterfly farm.. flo my little girl managed to catch a one ..oops

today was a lovely day. I went to see some really special people who have just been blessed with the prettiest little girl called Poppy. She is magic and I spent the morning taking pictures of her x

i think it has been raining for about 5 days.. usually i love the rain .. it means it's ok to stay at home all day pottering around, moving things about and trying to make something i won't ever finish.. however today when i saw the sun trying to peak through the clouds i felt a warm sense of relief .. x

today is one of those days where you should not go anywhere and should stay at home drinking tea and eating cake x
